World Bird Wednesday - XXXI

Some days when I am walking to and fro, the birds just seem to have a better color to them. Last weekend was one of those days. Most of these birds are ones I normally see, but they just seemed a little more vibrant.

I also saw a few Northern Rough-Winged Swallows. Not a great picture, but a new bird for me.

  2. Gosh, I see what you mean, they do look vibrant and energised! I wonder why? Something like spring fever I suppose. Wonderful pictures and interesting observations!

  3. Great pix! I would have thought it was the photographer's talent not the kind of day it was. Are you sure that wasn't it? I love the cardinals == we are originally from the Pacific NW and we don't see those birds there -- but just when we travel. The redwings and flickers are more familiar, but both of them are great favorites. Thanks!
